Two Speaker Guidelines and Meeting Format

The Burlington Network Group meets for breakfast at 7.30 am every second week at the Water Street Cooker, 2084 Old Lakeshore Road, Burlington.

The meeting format is as follows:

1. Breakfast, buffet style, begins at 7.35 – 7.45 am.

2. Around 8:00 am members do their 45 second self-introductions.

3. The 1^st speaker begins at 8.20 am. Be prepared to speak for 10 minutes, with questions held until later.

4. At 8.30am there is a networking break, with the 2^nd speaker beginning at 8.35am.

5. At 8.45am both speakers can answer questions for 5 – 10 minutes.

6. The speakers may provide a small gift, value $10-$20. The Water Street Cooker has a Liquor License, so giving bottles of wine or other alcoholic beverages contravenes the license. Please do not provide a gift of Alcohol. The gift draws will both be done at the end of the meeting.

7. At 8.55 am, the Treasurer or President, with the speakers, conducts the gift draws, and the 50/50 draw. Community announcements are just before 9 am.

8. The meeting adjourns at 9 am.
